Download Windows Server – Besides Linux, Windows is also very capable for servers. It shares the same functionality, features, and also security (if configured properly). The only drawback in my opinion is cost. You will pick your pocket deeper if you choose to use Windows as your server operating system.
You can download Windows Server directly from the Microsoft server. Remember you must activate your copy of the Windows server 180 days after you installed it.
